# Find animations
Choose Explore, Workspace, or Import as the source for a Canva animation.

Choose a source based on who owns the animation and whether it already belongs to your team's workflow.

| Source        | Best for                                         | Account required                                    |
| ------------- | ------------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **Explore**   | Discovering a public free or Premium animation   | Not for initial browsing; required for some actions |
| **Workspace** | Using an approved, private, or shared team asset | Yes                                                 |
| **Import**    | Opening your own `.json`, `.lottie`, URL, or SVG | Yes                                                 |

All three sources lead to a preview before insertion. Use the preview to verify playback, choose a child animation when needed, and make supported color changes.
