# Prompt to Vector
Generate vector artwork from a text prompt inside the LottieFiles plugin for Figma.

Prompt to Vector is available from the plugin's **Tools** tab. It creates vector artwork from a text prompt, so you can quickly explore source artwork before preparing a Figma scene for animation.

## When to use it

- You need a simple visual idea quickly.
- You want editable vector artwork instead of a raster image.
- You are exploring motion concepts before final illustration.

## Basic workflow

1. Open the LottieFiles plugin in Figma.
2. Open **Tools**.
3. Choose **Prompt to Vector**.
4. Enter a short prompt.
5. Insert or refine the generated vector artwork.

## Before animating

After generating artwork, inspect the layer structure. Simplify unnecessary paths, group related shapes clearly, and name layers before using Figma to Lottie.
