# Quickstart Install LottieFiles in Webflow and publish your first animation. This quickstart follows the shortest complete path: install the app on a site, choose a free public animation, insert it into the page, preview the result, and publish it. ## Before you start - Open a Webflow site where you can install and launch Apps. - Use a role that can edit the page and publish to at least the staging domain. - Add or choose a valid page element near the intended insertion point. A LottieFiles account is optional for the first Explore insertion.
