Submitting Your Plugin to the Creator Bazaar
Learn how to set up a publisher profile, prepare your plugin, and submit it to the Creator Bazaar for review.
Here's how to get your plugin off your machine and into other people's hands with the Creator Bazaar, the LottieFiles plugin marketplace.
Before you begin
Make sure you have:
A tested plugin ZIP bundle that loads cleanly in Plugins -> + -> upload a Plugin ZIP file. If you're not there yet, start with Building Your Plugin.
A LottieFiles account. Sign up for free at LottieFiles.
Step 1: Set up your publisher profile
The Bazaar attributes every plugin to a publisher, not to an individual account.
Head to the Bazaar to create a publisher profile.
Fill in the publisher form.
Click Create Publisher.
The person who creates a publisher becomes its owner. To bring in collaborators, go to Members -> Invite Member and assign a role.
Step 2: Create your plugin listing
With a publisher in place, you can create your first plugin listing.
Open Plugins in the dashboard and click New Plugin.
Fill in the form.
Click Save changes.
Your plugin now exists as a draft.
Step 3: Upload a release and submit it for review
The next step is to attach your build as a release and hand it over for review.
On the plugin's management page, open the Releases tab and click New Release.
In the Bundle panel, drop in the plugin ZIP you produced in Building Your Plugin and wait for Upload complete.
Fill in the rest of the form.
Click Create draft release.
Your release is now a draft. When you are ready, find it in the Releases timeline, click Submit for review, and confirm. The release leaves your hands and enters the review pipeline.
How review works
When you submit a release, it's queued for review. You can see which stage a release is in from the dashboard.
Once a release is approved, it's published automatically. Your plugin will appear in Creator's plugin catalogue for anyone to install.
If a release is rejected, open it in the dashboard to read the Rejection Reason, make your changes, and submit a new release.
Updating your plugin
Shipping an update? Create a new release with a higher version number and submit it — the same review process applies, and your users get the update as soon as it's approved. Your listing is already live, so there's nothing extra to do.
Unpublishing a plugin
To pull a plugin from the marketplace, go to its Settings tab, scroll to Danger Zone -> Plugin Status, and click Unpublish plugin. This removes it from the plugin catalogue, and users will no longer able to open or install it.
The same panel has a Publish plugin button if you want to republish it at a later time.
