Properties

Properties control the visual appearance and behavior of your layers—from position and color to masks and blend modes. The Property Panel updates automatically based on your selection.

Property Panel Basics

The panel shows different properties based on what you select:

  • Scene (nothing selected) - Canvas size, duration, background, FPS
  • Layer selected - Transform, alignment, blend modes, opacity
  • Shape selected - Fill, stroke, gradients, trim path

Property Categories

  1. Transform - Position, scale, rotation, skew, anchor point

  2. Alignment - Horizontal and vertical alignment tools

  3. Appearance - Fill, stroke, gradients, blend modes, opacity

  4. Compositing - Track matte, masks

  5. Path Controls - Trim path, path editing (shape layers only)
